The Great Cheverell Soap Box Derby returns in 2018

The Great Cheverell Soap Box Derby was originally started in the 80’s by Gordon Straker, Brian Coupe & Bill Leedham.
The race starts and finishes at the Bell and takes place around a circular course of approximately 1km. The beginning runs downhill and around a fast right-hander. An uphill section follows with a compulsory drink stop. It then continues uphill with a longer but easier gradient. There is then a nice level section at the top of the village and finally a downhill run, through the first chicane. There is a second chicane and a second compulsory drink stop before the final downhill run to the finish line.
